a graphing calculator by texas insturments...your best bet is a TI-83 plus. theyre not too cheap but it helped me SO much in calculus and stats.

you can usually find good deals at wal-mart or like office max or office depot
but you should also wait to see what type of calculator your school suggests because its going to be easier to use and to follow. also, whatever book youre assigned is going to use a certain type of calculator in it so it would be best to get the one in the book so you can follow it.
