I agree.... my anxiety attacks are under control now but they were bad before. The thing about anxiety attacks is that the attacks last only a few minutes and they are gone. While with depression it seems like it's a little more constant. I hope you seek treatment and feel better soon.

I have friends that suffer from both, and I would say that depression would by far be the worse.
The reason for my answer is based on what I see my friends with depression going through and how it not only effects them, but how it effects their family and friends.

Having experienced both, I would say depression is the worst because it makes you feel helpless and so alone and it effects those around you more. Plus the depression can lead you to many unwanted or scary thoughts. I would'nt want either, but depression, in my opinion is more devastating.

That's a hard question to answer. But I would say anxiety, because if bad enough I'm sure the stress could cause a hear attack.

i think depress also--
and i am a depressed and anxious person.

depression makes me crash
too tired to even cry
but when i do
i don't stop for an hour;
i don't eat, drink, sleep'
i repeat my faults and go over
every bad moment of my life.

when i'm anxious i just
freak out and get
really annoyed and breathless.

They both suck in my eyes. I freeze up when I am anxious and am real quiet for a while. When depressed, I really look for a place to be alone and not deal with anyone.

Ask your doctor to test you for hyperinsulinemia. It may be a cause of your depression, and/or anxiety as well.

I think both of them are. Just try to live a normal and happy life. Life is too short to worry about things that are part of our existence...just go on with the flow.
