See these PRO ILLEGALS seem to think AMERICANS STARVED before the Mighty ILLEGAL rode in here to pick all our food. I honestly don't recall any time in AMerican History were we had MILLIONS starving because we couldn't get our own food. All that is is yet ANOTHER BS Lie created by Pro Illegals to ATTEMPT to Justify the CRIMES they committed coming here ILLEGALLY. Americans NEVER starved BEFORE the ILLEGALS and we DAM sure wont Starve without them.

Why Cant MEXICO Develop Agriculture And Industry??
Theres NO REASON That
Oranges, Lettuce And Berries ETC.
Cant Be GROWN In Mexico
PICKED By Mexicans THERE
And Exported To Other Nations
The USA Does NOT Have A Corner On Agriculture
Maybe Mexico Should Consider Building
A Few Schools And HOSPITALS Too

It's true that most white people won't do this type of job, hey I wouldn't either but it's not only a matter of legal immigrants, not just Mexican people (because it's not the only immigrant group in this nation), not wanting to work in this jobs once they have established legality in this country it's a two tier topic.
First, of course once illegal immigrants have established legality they want to better themselves and provide better lives for their families and we all know this can't be done on the wages given to farm workers so they will look for better paying opportunities.
Secondly, the farm owners don't want to pay more either, they refuse to pay even minimum wage (most of them) so they actually prefer hiring illegals over legal workers, hence rejecting most legal workers from working for them.
I think most of the jobs illegal and legal immigrants do are degrading and we should be thankful their actually doing them instead of always complaining when the poor man actually rises up from poverty.

Dude it's not only mexicans that pick the oranges or the field. You have to take class on Immigrants of the United States.
Believe it or not....there are White farmers who own small farms that pick the fields too you know...but you don't hear about them because all the news is about the old fear of "losing territory and feeling a sense of the u.s. running out of capacity

Mexicans can certainly pick Sunkist Oranges laced with DDT grown in Mexico for the traditional $1 a day. There is is legal and unhealthy. Ask Mexico why they don't ban DDT!
And those oranges get imported into the US with the DDT on them LEGALLY under NAFTA!

I love your question. It proves the point, who will do what most Americans will not do, even if they are on welfare. So great, say here you are, your are legal now, pick our oranges for minimum wage because we won't do it. Clean our hotel room toilets and scrub hospital floors, it is hard to find Caucasians to do it.
Years ago, Mexican laborers worked under a contract with the ranchers or farmers. They were called Braceros. They worked through the different seasonal fruits, vegetables, and returned to Mexico. I think they stopped because of abuses by the employers, I'm not sure.
One thing I do know is they are hard workers.

They didn´t stop because of abuses by the employers, but because WW2 was over and they weren´t need anymore because our soldiers that were fighting in Europe came home! There was no "void" after the braceros left, there will be no "void" after the illegals leave!

Strawberries and grapes need fingers.
Teenagers used to do it, and definitely legal immigrants of whatever nationality could.

Most legal Mexican do it,but they sub-contract the work to illegals and pay them dirt wages.
