I'd like some software that I can edit digit photos with. I'd like one that allows me to:

Cut out the people and put them in a different setting
Paste someone's face over another's body
Make the entire picture black and white except for one object.

What software offers these features and more?

The Gimp. Almost as good as Photoshop, but it is 100% free. Opensource too.

WHile Photoshop is the best, hands down, for beginners I would recommend Corel PaintShop Pro X. It is more user friendly, and easier to understand. It will do everything you want to do. It is also cheaper, at around $80.
There are lots of free tutorials online as well.

Agree with the Adobe photoshop! Best I have ever used! You better be ready to learn tho, its a very complex program!
