Cheesey and not very good as far as the "close-ups" of teeth and tongue. Otherwise, it's the same as any other movie where they prey on the fears of the average viewer. I always wondered why someone would say, "Man, I am REALLY scared of the dentist. I think I'll watch a scary movie where a dentist hurts people." But, oh well...

I was not offended, if that's what you're thinking. They'll make a movie out of anything that they think will sell tickets. Dentists are so often portrayed as either bumbling idiots or geeks that, in a way, it's nice to see a dentist portrayed as being just as whacked out of it as any other profession. It makes us seem more normal.

Not a Detist, but as a horror fan, and being in the horror industry, I loved the films.
