No, i'm a virgin and do intend to keep my virginity until my wedding night.
And i've been in a relationship for 3 years. So i think i've been holding out okay.
But to answer your question fully, it's not a myth. It has just become less common.

Wedding-Day Virgins are definately a myth................ Most if not all have sex before marriage (fornicate as the old church would say) and some even have kids before marraige. However you have about 5% of the population holding to this believe. Though it would be nice to be having sex for the first time with the one you truly love on the night of your special day, i believe the best is when you and your husband, virgins are not make mad paasionate love on the wedding night, which is often memorable

Supposedly the white gown signifies virginity. However, even in the earliest known times, this rule seems to have applied only to the brides. Grooms were expected to have sown some wild oats, so to speak ,before their weddings. Today, not only have people sown wild oats, they've gone and sown wheat, corn, barley and a not too shabby amount of soy. In otherwords, yes, it's a myth. Most brides today are not virgins. This doesn't mean they are out running around, just that most have probably done some wild oat sowing of their own.

Why would this be a myth? Your question doesn't make sense. Some brides and grooms are, some aren't.

Now-a-days it's a rare case. But some people still save themselves because that is just what they believe in.
