I don't just mean atheists, if there was truly only one almighty God wouldn't we all know?
Don't just say "you have to have faith"
'God' wants us to worship him right? so why doesn't he just take all the doubt out of our minds?

Wait now... there's fine print to dispel any logic applied to Christianity. You have to keep in mind that Christianity, which has been under the scrutiny of intelligent minds since it began, has honed itself into an impenetrable wall of fine print. Whatever rational thinking you apply to it will be dashed to bits by rock-hard rhetoric. E.g., 'God' wants us to believe in what we can't see (have faith). It's kind of like a hide and not go seek kind of game. The less you see and the more you believe anyway, the higher your points as a good Christian. E.g., 'God' put everything in the bible he wants you to know, and so he doesn't ever have to say anything else. E.g., God loves us so much he gave us free will so we could choose which path we want to follow: the path to his exquisite love, or the one to eternal hellfire and torment he created to show us how much he loves us. E.g., you're tempting 'God' and he gets mad when you do that, so uh-oh, you're in trouble now. E.g., get on your knees and pray because the devil jumped in you and made you ask these evil questions.

But God shows his anger from Heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and the sky and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities- His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsover for not knowing God. Romans 1 v 18-20

There are laws in this land that dictate right from wrong. I am guessing that you are old enough to understand that and that you accept this to be true. We as citizens are expected to obey those laws. However, we do have the choice not to. We can rob a bank or a convience store, murder someone, etc. even though we know that if we choose to do that we will pay the price for our disobedience.
God has no intention of making you a mindless puppet, you have to put some work into this situation. The guidelines are there, you have freedom to choose, if you don't then you deal with the consequences.

Faith is an essential part of God's plan. Why??

God, your Heavenly Father, has prepared a marvelous plan for your happiness. When you realize that God has a plan for you, it is easier to understand why you are on this earth. God wants all of His children to progress and become more like Him. This time on Earth provides opportunities for you to grow and progress. Coming here allows you to:

Receive a physical body.
Exercise agency and learn to choose between good and evil.
Learn and gain experience that will help you become more like your Heavenly Father.

By following our Heavenly Father’s plan, you—like all of His children—can someday return to live with Him and with your loved ones. You can have greater peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come.

Having faith is part of the process of becoming more like our father.

If He did that, then there would be no reason for Faith. God wants it this way. That's just the way He is doing things; therefore, it is the just and right way. God works in mysterious ways...we can't possibly understand His ways. It's like trying explain nuclear physics to a rat...we're aren't able to understand. Just try to live a life pleasing to Him. He absolutely wants us to worship Him b/c he has such a powerful LOVE for us. He's not a crazy puppet master, He does have a method to His "madness"...we can't possibly comprehend.

Jesus said,
"..blessed is he who believes yet has not seen.."

God wants us to have the growing, maturing kind of faith. Like a mustard seed. It is a small seed yet grows big.

Once a person is born again, by faith, God waters that faith. He waters it with His Word & His Spirit. When we disobey, God disciplines & our faith grows. We are to worship Him in Spirit & in Truth. God disciplines me when doubts come. I know that I need to submit to God (Pay attention to God & claim His Word), resist satan & Satan flees. Doubts will come, especially if we are being disobedient in an area. At that realization, we need to give attention to God, repent, or ask if there is someone who needs prayer, etc... Basically submitting to God is resisting Satan. So Satan flees. Submitting to God has delivered me from so many things, so it is hard to doubt.

When in doubt, toss doubt out.

I concur, especially if god plans on sending people to hell for not believing the right religion. It'd only be fair to give us proof so we could make an informed decision.

Do you remember the story of Jesus in the bible, when he wanted the rich man's son to follow him, and the man said he couldn't and Jesus walked away. Jesus didn't force the man into following him, though he could have. God would like us to believe in Him, but we may be at a point in our lives where we aren't, for one reason or another. If you notice though, the ones that feel they were "called" to follow, and want to, somehow find their way;)

Are you aware that you are asking why doesn't God just force himself on us? What would be the point of free will? He has confidence that what ever decision you make, should be one made out of free will. Would you force your love on someone you truly love or is the love sweeter if they come to know you, appreciate and love you just for who you are?

Remember, God loves you enough to let you love or reject Him. That's how much he loves you.
