by working out i mean with weights and by right before i mean like 2 minutes bfore

i would think that it will not have enough time to absorb before your workout and will not have much of an impact. you should probably take them 30 minutes to an hour before working out. regardless, read the instructions on the bottle and consult a physician before starting any excersize / diet program.

I do it seems to help me get through my whole workout I take it about 15 minutes before my workout then by the time you get through the warm up period it gives it enough time to kick in.
