I'm from LA, I want to take my girl to a fun romantic weekend, where could I take her?

Stay at The Palace Hotel http://www.sfpalace.com/ which is near Union Square, and the Pier Tower. You can even walk to Chinatown and Little Italy within 15 mins, and Fisherman's Wharf takes about 35 mins walking, 15 - 12 mins by taxi (due to traffic).
There are many romantic restaurants and things to do in San Francisco. Pack or order a picnic basket, go to Fisherman's Wharf, rent a bike, and bike to the Golden Gate Bridge. Cross it, and have lunch at the large view point after you cross the bridge. On the way back, stop at Ghirardelli Square http://www.ghirardellisq.com/ghirardellisq/ for some delicious chocolate lovin'! On the way back, take the cable car for an experience you won't soon equal.
In the evening go to Little Italy for dinner. It's all within walking distance. If you do stay at a hotel, ask the concierge for some ideas that may fit your liking more than what I suggested.

For a ride on the cable cars, then dinner at the Top of the Mark. Have you got any older brothers?

TONS!!! i would stay in san francisco...ferry over to sausalito for breakfast at least one day...visit Marin Headlands, Diamond Heights...great spots
