I got married on Wells Beach, Maine, five years ago this Friday. It was a beautiful day, and the tide was coming in. We then had our reception at the Grey Gull Inn. People still tell us of what a wonderful time they had at our wedding. It was very nice and I would reccommend it for anyone.

My sister and her husband never had a real wedding they got married at the court house. So for their 10 year anniversary they renewed their vows at beach ceremony.
It only cost them a couple hundred dollars and invited only immediate family.
Sweet simple and to the point.

I did! It was so easy. We got married in Gulf Shores, AL we called the Chamber of Commerce and gave us the # to a local minister that does the ceremony and he met us behind the condo on the beach! It was so easy! WE also have great pictures.

It might seem simpler, but when you have to provide the seating and such on the beach, and worry about how elderly guests will be walking across the sand... depending on the situation you may be in a situation of the grass is always greener....
