According to the American Heart Association, we only need 7% of saturated fat in our diets! Wow, we get triple that if we eat meats, even chicken with the skin on, or eat diary products, sweets, butters.
Saturated fat raises your blood cholesterol more than any other type of food, yikes!
Cut back on these foods: meat, poultry and fish. Just eat a normal serving, if you want seconds, eat the veggies! Choose lean cuts of meat. Cut the fat off. Remove skin from chicken. Don't fry, instead bake.
Use skim or 1% milk. Instead of ice cream choose sugar free nonfat frozen yogurt. Use nonfat sour creme. Limit cheeses, use mozzarella which is used with skim milk. Use non fat cottage cheese. Use light or non fat cream cheese.
I could go on, but you get the picture, you can always look this up on the internet, sorry for going on and on! Hope this helps!

Saturated fat in general is bad for you. Don't go over about 10 or 15 grams a day, and you'll be fine, but really, there's no reason to eat it at all.

All saturated fat is bad for you.
Even in moderation saturated fat is bad, but as long as it IS in eatten in moderation you shouldn't worry to much about it's bad effects, which enclude heart attack or stroke.
