Its really annoying me, me and mates wanna film stuff and then I wanna load 'em on to the computer and put them on YouTube or something but I plug the camcorders USB into the computer and everything but I can only put the pictures onto the computer...any videos I can't, I can't find them on the file...

Yes i know this one, you go to an electrical retailer like curry's and ask for a firewire cable,self explanetary conection as soon as you swich it on (the camera )your cpu recognises the soft ware and follow onscreen instructions, hope this helps. Terry

You need more than a USB connection to transfer video from a camcorder. You need a firewire connection, also knows as a 1394 adapter card.

Once you have this, you need to connect a firewire cable from your camcorder to that card. You will then need software to import your video to the computer, a software that is usally provided with the camcorder.
