After seeing some of the other answers, I do agree that Buddhist & Hindus are primarily peace & love until they are attacked..
But as far as "Christianity" goes - let's not forget the crusades that took place in the past, if you weren't converted you were killed...
For now (which is what I'm guessing your question is based on)The Fundamentalist Christians of the USA want war in the Middle East as they hope that Armegeddon will begin...And being a "cheerleader" while watching 2 groups go at it shows no love at all for life - just a selfish cause......
If you want a quick read - do a search on - jerry falwell on 60 minutes - I think it's under "zion soldiers"
PLeaseeeeee note the word "Fundamentalist" I am not referring to all of mainstream Christianity as the born agains are our looney division of Christianity

Actually, although I'm a Christian, I have seen some aggressive attacks on atheists (and vice versa) by Christians here.
There are a few things that cause conflict:
1. The need to proselytize (i.e., win others over to your side, convert) as part of the faith.
2. A strict list of standards of right/wrong that must be followed, or something negative will happen.
3. A sense that you only live once, so choices made in this life matter a great deal.
Islam has these things in spades, and Christianity has them as well, depending on how it is practiced and understood.
Faiths that involve reincarnation (or some variation of it) and the ability to recycle until one becomes more enlightened, *generally* are not as aggressive and argumentative.

Buddhists have been in their fare share of wars in Japan. The difference is that when they were fighting the conflict was dismissed as nonreligious. Christians=Crusades, War in Iraq, retaking the Philippines, according to the leading general, was to secure Christianity over Eastern Religions, Including Buddhism. Hindus are generally peaceful and I have not heard of any violent fighting, but we cannot forget the Great One Gandhi, who fought off English persecution. The problem is that the fighting involved with Muslims is more openly religious than other ones which makes us think they are the only religion fighting all the time.

see, islam is a very practical religion.Though iam a hindu i respect islam very much. it's just the work of some cheap, narrow minded people that all muslims are being blamed and seen with a different view. more over the other religins stated are not very strict or forceful as the islam.you see, the human nature is to give in to the anxiety about breaking taboos. more the taboos, more the breaking. that ,i feel, is where islam suffers. i appologise to my islamic friends if i have hurt them in any way!

Odin. He would be lacking an eye fixed, yet he does not pass over a trick, and mutually as the Hindu gods would outnumber the Norse, nicely, the Norse are all approximately conflict, etc. Buddha does not combat. And the Abrahamic god might purely deny the existence of the others in any respect expenses...

Hindu's, buddists and christian's don't believe in killing anyone who doesn't agree with them, keeps them out of the afterlife they desire. See, just like I said before, militant islam will be the anti-christ and destroy the world.

Buddhists don't believe in unnecessary harm. Some other religions will kill anyone who doesn't match their beliefs. What morons.
