Faith be with you! IS our beliefs the aura of protection we think it is, does it speak away the horrors we never run into?? To be without god, does this lead us to damnation??
You live your life as you see fit, you can choose to worship how ever you want, believe what you want to believe. When your life has been lived, god will not judge you by your lack of faith, but judge you on how you treated people and what you did to make earth a better place or a worst place. as far as the movie thing goes you lost me!!

It can be somewhat scary at times, as we are most definitely outnumbered in the US. However, I know from experience that I can outsmart the best of them. If the need arose, I could fake being a more virtuous Christian than most of them could ever actually be. And religious folks are extremely easy to manipulate.

Not at all. Why should that cause me fear. There is not much I fear in this world and your analogy is not one of them.
It takes all kind of people to make this world what it is. Fortunately some of us realize that and have the grace to let others believe as they please without harassing them. Perhaps someday you will evolve to that point.
