After eating passionfruit (tiny black seeds) there appeared to be tiny black dots on the surface of my wife's molars. We don't know if it's from the fruit or from something else......???

maybe the seeds from the fruit stained them, if this is the case try brushing with baking soda and it should solve the problem for you!!!

Well first of all, are you sure they only appeared after she ate the passion fruit and weren't there all along?

If you're absolutely sure they only appeared after the passion fruit then it's likely that some of the seeds have got caught in the pits and fissures of your wife's teeth. Try brushing them to get rid of it.

Otherwise, it could be the beginning of cavities in her teeth, or pit and fissure staining, which happens if you drink a lot of tea or coffee. The dentist will be able to sort out either of these problems.

i'm afraid it could be a hollow area. It actual sounds like it, because of the fact you have braces and that is actual in the middle of the tooth in question. i might have a dentist seem at it to be risk-free; do no longer evade it because of the fact it would harm, it will in easy terms worsen.
