You should get married in the church, and have your reception in the castle; this will only save you money from doing both in the castle.

If you live in the Uk it should be very easy to organise. Local councils have a list of buildings available for conducting marriage ceremonies. If you have the ceremony and after party in the same location is cuts down on transport costs and will make the most of the venue. It sounds cool to me, go for it!

That sounds amazing! If it's what you and your FH want, then GO FOR IT! Your wedding is supposed to be your special day, and if you can afford to go all out, then more power to ya, get the castle of your dreams!

y a castle? wouldnt the edge of a cliff overlooking a beach during sunset be much cooler? and cheaper?

you can do both. in canada there's a castle called, casa loma, they do wedding ceremonies and receptions.
