Let it go. You said it yourself, it was accidental and most people don't realize that they've done it or that they were being rude. There's not much point in getting into a whole argument with some stranger.
Tell them you would appreciate it if they'd be more careful if it happens more than once with the same person, though.

Well, as you say its an accident and he didnt mean that to steps on your toes. Just leave it and be happy . Have fun and enjoy watching the movies with ur date. Thats a waste of time confronting him or her....

What would you expect to happen if you brought it to someone's notice? This hypothetical person is already shown to be rude by not apologizing. So if you shame him/her by drawing attention to the previous rudeness, do you really think they'd say, oh, well, I didn't know I was a jerk before, but now I do and I sincerely apologize. Come on, dude! Just let it go. Unless they broke one of your toes or smudged your Christian Louboutins--then call the cops and sue that bigfooted f**ker!

You could say "OW" really loudly, maybe they'd get the picture. I have a habit of saying "TUT" loudly whenever something annoys me, I don't know why, but I'll let you use that. Theaters are so crowded they probably didn't realize they stepped on your toes though.

I wouldn't say anything. In my area, the theatre has seats set so close to each other (both side by side and in front and back) that it's virtually impossible to get by someone without treading on them or almost falling in the seated person's lap.

Someone might have stepped on ur feet accidentally or without knowing. just take it easy and forgive, till it doesnot cause u a big problem. Just let them go. forgive and forget after all they are also human beings and stepping on a foot is not a big crime and they might have stepped on somebody accidentally and unaware that they are stepping on somebody's foot.Just forgive........let them go

Let's presume it truly is an accident. Proper etiquette deems you bring it their attention. A civilized person will apologize.

Maybe it depends on how painful the experience was. Most people that I have encountered in movie theatres have the etiquette of arabian pigs, so don't think bringing their infractions to their attention is going to get you anywhere. God Bless you.

Ignore them. It's not worth the hassle. Some people thrive on confrontations and some people carry guns.

Since terminating their life is illegal, i would just push them as hard as I could over the seat, preferable make their nose bleed and kick him in the stomach a couple times and then say:

BIOTCHHHHHHHHHHH , you stepped on my toe and didnt apologize !
