Well, it's been a long time since I've crocheted anything, but I couldn't resist the hunt. Don't know if either of these are what you are looking for. The one is not strictly granny squares -- more like rounds -- but makes a great Christmas tree, I think. The other is more of a tree worked into a number of squares. Hope this is useful. Have fun!!
