You'll hold her flowers, you'll straighten her veil, you'll cater to her every whim. It's your duty to act as a support system for the bride in her time of chaos. This can range from shopping for dresses, addressing invitations, putting together favors to helping the bride find some good drugs when she has a nervous breakdown.
Maids of honor are chosen for their emotional stability and composure, so be sure to stay positive every step of the way. Always reassure the bride with her final decisions by noting how cute, fun, beautiful and good they are. Keep any negative opinions about any wedding details to yourself.

To do the brides bidding. And to throw the bridal shower and the bachelorette. She should be there for you, just as you would be if the situation was reversed.
