I know, many of us were taught that this is the pinnacle or morality, to love God more than anyone. The understanding "other" must accept this.

Makes for a great excuse to...doesnt it. "honey, ive gotta do this for the chruch/mission/religious function cause I serve God first, you know that, dont make me chose honey".

Im so impressed with this imagined love, I really am, but as impressed as I am, I guarentee that any woman declaring such a love will be dumped hard.

As for myself, I will give all I have first to my significant other because she will be all I know and I cannot truely love something I do not truely know.

"oh, but you can know God...do x and y and z, and read the bible and ....". I did all that, but the difference between me and you is i never lost touch with whats real...and it never was real. Sorry to burst the bubble but it does a lot of harm to...

If I have a religion, its the art of loving a woman...thats powerful and real...

I certainly would want someone who loves God first, before anyone or anything else. It shows they understand and truly follow the ten commandments. This in fact IS one of the ten commandments, "You shall no other gods before Me."
I would rest in the fact that my mate truly loves me and would never lie to me, never look at another person to lust after them, never steal from me or anyone else, never embarrass me by using filthy language, and so many other things that are defined by the ten commandments.
The ten commandments do a far better job than all the laws mankind has ever written combined, probably billions of them.
The ten commandments covers everything that all those billions of man made laws cover and much more.
That alone should make someone think that those ten commandments may just be Divine and not of man.

You don't know Biblical love.

Husbands are to lay their life down for their family. They are to serve God first and then their family.

Serving God first doesn't mean that a person is constantly at church, but it is part of it.

A person serving Christ would try their best to keep their family/church/recreational time in check.

On the other hand, if you are a non-Christian and you are married to a Christian, you may feel like you are being jipped. Since that person doesn't love God they may feel jealous if their spouse goes to church without them...even though they don't want to go.

The non-christian could feel threatened because their spouse loves God more than them.

i think of they're discovering to love God, human beings, and life. And to VENGEFUL: They pass over their companion and young babies like everyone else, and not each and every physique chooses eternal life with God, some alongside with your self and the guy asking this question opt to mock people who do. Be carefull what you ask for, you basically would acquire.

Not really I mean, God doesn't ask to be loved *that* much. From what I heard he just asks us to live our lives and be good as possible. So, that'd be a no sadly to all the women (hot or not) that love God more then anyone else.

how do you love god? where is the object of my affection? it just baffles me that some people say this. OR EVEN BETTER - I LOVE JESUS! how?!!?!?! f*cking a, i love somebody by doing good things for them, thinking about them, caring for them, etc...it is just utterly impossible for me to "love" something that is intangible. are these the same people that are also capable of loving the virgin mary, and st. thomas, and muhammed (sh*t be upon him), and moses?

i just don't understand it.

God is love.

If a woman tries to love God with her full heart, that love will pour down into her love for me. It will be more natural for her. As God is love he gives us the ability to love our husbands and wives, family, friends, etc.

Without God as her top priority, she will be more susceptible to temptation and such... but with God as her true love, she will be a better wife for me.

I think it is a bit confusing... How can people love above all someone they cannot see?

Maybe it is because they cannot see this someone, actually.

If you understood God's love to us, you wouldn't have to ask that question
