have you tried the vet? I'm not sure I've ever had experience with what you're describing.

Did you say 150 pounds? That's at least twice the size that a Golden should be. Even a large male golden should not be more than 100 pounds and that's really heavy. Is this a mix? New Foundland or some other extra large breed. That's an insane weight for this breed. There are many reasons why a dog could have the type of reaction that you describe: parasites, allergies, infections, diseases... You need to call your vet now and take your dog in. It may be something that requires a different type of shampoo or your dog may be infected with mange or something else.

You need a vet!
Whatever it is, a vet could tell you, and give you a treatment so that your poor dog doesn't have to suffer anymore.
You've probably already spent a fortune on over the counter products for humans, save your dough and go to the vet, it'd probably cost $40.
Do it today!
Good luck

Same as everyone else, go to the vet. But i wonder why you did not as you obviously care about your dog. Not to be rude, but if you can't afford the vet, contact a local rescue centre who can advise you on a low cost veterinary treatment. If you are in UK maybe the PDSA could help

First off you should NEVER!!!! use athlete's foot spray, wart removers, etc. on your animals!!!
COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!!!!!
When you first noticed these growths & saw they were causing your dog irritation WHY didn't you take the dog to your Vet????
If this was your child & you suddenly noticed something like this wouldn't you take your child to the Doctor???
To ansnwer that, PROBABLY NOT!!!!

Go to another vet for a second opinion.

It sounds like tumour or cysts but may be allergy related, in any case, it needs to be resolved, it will cause your dog to walk oddly and this will lead to further orthopedic complications.

sorry, but go to the vet, your poor dog sounds to be in alot of pain, putting that coller on may drive your dog mad, get her help please, I know vets are ridiculously expensive, but some may let you make payments for their treatment, give my love to your poor dog, & good luck.

You need to take her to the vet as soon as possible. It sounds too bad to wait.

Please take this dog to the vet.It will not cost that much & your vet will tell you exactly what it is.The dog needs antibiotics that only a vet can give.
