i just bough some organic bananas from a veg market place.
they are bad. really bad. puke!
I like regular bananas.
how about you?

People consider them more healthy due to less pesticide and better for the environment.

However, it's buyer beware. There are no strict guidelines for what can be called "organic" so you have to be very careful. What is "organic" in one meaning may not be completely true in another meaning - free-range chicken may have 1-2 extra square feet, or can be literally on a range.

Look for certified organic products. A certified organic product means that food has been inspected by a third-party agency to verify organic authenticity to the consumer. Several certification agencies exsist across the country. Look for the certification seal or name of the certification agency on the label. When you see this claim, it means:
* No harmful chemicals have been applied for at least 3 years.
* The farmer and processor have annual certification inspections.
* They have kept detailed records of their practices.
* They use ecologically-friendly methods and substances to improve the soil and control pests

I've never tried organic bananas, since the "regular" ones are so good I haven't wanted to change!

are you sure you didnt buy plantains by accident? they look like bananas but taste absolutely nothing like them...not even the same texture.
