I want to visit a friend in Ohio, I'm from houston and I'm on a budget.

Also if you know of any sites where you can just give the month you want to fly, instead of a specific date, that would be helpful too. I don't really care when I fly as long as I can afford it.

May is an "off season" month. June, July, August are peak months. So is Jan-April (peak time).

It varies but the airlines, I cant tell you the cheapest way to go, but the times in which the airport is the busiest are...

Right before Christmas - Mid April

I have noticed that the airport gets the slowest right after this point.

Starting now running through December. UA, NW, US, etc are all showing fare sales.

the best times are usually late summer/early fall cause its not longer the typical vacation time.
