It is heated by the metabolism of the food you eat. The food gets broken down and energy gets released. This is the case for warm blooded animals. Cold blooded animals, such as reptiles, need to go out in the sun to get warm instead, and do not regulate their own temperature.

Human is a warm blooded animal. Blood is warm due to many reasons bt d main reason is the heat produced during metabolism in liver, mainly.
Metabolism means, Anabolism and Catabolism.
Anabolism means combination of certain chemicles to form new essential materials required for d body.
Catabolism means d breakdown of chemicals produced from food into smaller, easily consumable form by d body.
During Catabolism therez a lot of heat production Mostly by proteins and fats.
Carbohydrates produce less calories.
All heat calories contributed by d Catabolism and Anabolism contribute to make blood warm.
Blood carries all the catabolised and anabolised materials to different parts of d body for its utilization.

So blood becomes warm and hence Blood in the human body warm!

I consider this as 2 d point answer 4 ur question!

Blood is maintained at around 37 degrees celsius. This is so that all the bodys enzymes and mechanisms can work at their optimum temperature. They become denatured or inactive at temperatures above and below this respectively. Internally, the heat comes from the bodys metabolism. Externally it can conserve or release heat like a thermostat to keep the body warm. You sweat to cool down and have goosebump/erect hairs/shiver to warm up the body.

There is a small "bodily thermostat" located just beneath the hypothalmus. This enables the body to regulate blood temperature, even in the coldest conditions. It is less effective in females, and this is why they are more unpredictable than males are. Currently the best treatment for this deficiency in females is brandy, which improves overall managability. If you ask your Dr about this thermostat, he will show you a picture of it, or maybe he will have one in a jar.
