A man will only have as much respect for a woman as she will have for herself. If you don't like the way he is treating you, tell him in no uncertain terms how you feel. If he respects that and makes an effort then he is worth your time and emotion. If he doesn't change, or at least make an effort, go find someone who will treat you well. Life is way too short and way too hard to put up with being neglected.

You didn't say how he is neglecting you. Is it because you expect him to do certain things, say certain things, give you certain things, and he isn't living up to your expectations? Not all people show their love for someone else in the expected ways, and maybe he's one who doesn't do it by the book.
But if he is really neglecting you, i.e. leaving you alone when you're out on a date, forgetting to call you for long periods of time, not showing you any affection ... then it may be time for you to think about moving on, and in time finding someone else who will love you and appreciate you for who you are.

Because he obviously doesn't want the same things from a relationship as you do. It took me SEVEN YEARS to figure out I couldn't make my boyfriend love me the way I wanted to be loved. When I finally realized his way would never be satisfying, and I broke it off FOR GOOD THIS TIME, I found my husband within a year. Nine years later I am very happy and know I'd have never been with the guy I thought was my one true love. There are entirely TOO MANY GUYS OUT THERE!!! Love yourself enough to look for the right one, or settle for life as it is right now, because it will only be worse after you marry him.

I would suppose it is because he has another interest somewhere else. Have you told him how you feel? You need to move on and find someone who won't neglect you.

Never let anyone close to you neglect you!!! You are the most important person on Earth!!! Let him know that you are a princess, and that if he does not wish to treat you like one.....go elsewhere!!!

It's not neglect, he probably has other things to do that you don't want to do with him. My g/f says the same sh-nit to me.

Go to the adult store, buy a huge dildo (not necessarily for use, but if ya want to...) Intentionally leave it in the bathroom, or somewhere he will see it. When he asks you about it say "well, that's about all the action I'm getting lately and this 'guy' doesn't neglet me ever."

Not enough information here for a valid answer, Maybe he is tired of you, or has found someone he likes better.
obviously he is not getting what he needs out of your relationship. Try to find out what he needs and then give it to him if you can.
