please help me with this because i don't know what to do!!!! please help!!.....?
to make this story short, here are some facts:
-i've been seeing black silhouettes ever since i was 5 and i am 17 now.

-they are everywhere i go (no matter where i go)

-sometimes i hear voices in my head. they are suggesting things in a rude manner or they make rude or insulting remarks about me.

-these things always like to stare at me, or stand really close to me and just look at me.

-they are all black and i can't always make out a facial expression because they appear as silhouettes almost 100% of the time.

-i don't really know what to do about this, and if i told my doctor, how could he help me?

this is not a joke, so please help me!

i asked my mom to set me up an appointment with my doctor yesterday, but she won't she said that my doctor isn't gonna do anything because there isn't anything he CAN do. she said that i'm seeing these things because i'm a bad person.

when i call the doctor and if i talk to a therapist, will my therapist tell my mom what i say, since i am a minor?

Seeing things DOES NOT make you a bad person,and there is help available for you.

First of all, feel good about yourself for posting your question. Second, you are never a bad person because something is going on that causes you to see things and hear voices that are negative. You are old enough to seek out help. Especially, if your mom is not advocating for you in seeking help on your behalf. Search in your area to see if there is a youth program that can recommend a healthcare program. Once you are there, you need a good physical and share with the doctor exactly what you shared here on this site. There could be a number of things you are experiencing and there are medications that can help you. Do not feel depressed or alone. There are many people who have struggled in silence that believed that there was no help and that they were all alone. See, you are not alone, many people have answered your question and now you need to be brave and take a step on your behalf to see a doctor. Good luck and persist until you get an answer and medicines that help you..

YOur Mother is WRONG! Call the doctor yourself and as to see them. Several things could be wrong here but it is very possible that you could be dealing with a chemical imbalance in your brain that is causing these images and voices. You could also be suffering from a personality disorder.
I am not leaning towards any kind of psychic abilities because everyone I know who has them does not get negative, derogatory verbals from the images directed at them.
Bypass your Mother, get to your doctors office. Explain to them the your Mother refused to get you help and that things are getting out of hand. You may just need to go on some medication to help out.
Don't put it off. Go and talk to some one. If you absolutely can;t get into your doctor then tlak to yout school counsellors and they may be able to help you out also.
Keep a positive outlook and don't let this get you down. If you let it eat you up inside then it wins. Just keep telling it to go away and get yourself some help ASAP.

Your mom is an ignorant bi**h. It may be schizophrenia, or any of its relatives. There is a remote possibility that you have strong psychic tendencies as well, but I'd try to rule out the first possibility before going around claiming that "I see dead people."

Talk to a school guidance counselor, s/he may be able to refer you to the school's clinical psychologist.

There are medications and therapy techniques to help you through this, so seeing a doctor CAN help you. Your mom won't want you to end up like the homeless guy on the street corner, do you?

No, the therapist is bound to keep all your communication confidential except in the case where you represent a threat to either yourself or someone else. With proper counseling and medication, you can expect to live a good life. Now, go tell your parents that you need help. Sweetie you're not a bad person at all. Any good doctor will listen to you and treat you accordingly. Lots of people believe in the supernatural. It could be you are a bit psychic and someone in your home is trying to tell you something. You could also have some sort of mental disorder with the visions and hearing of voices. Who knows? Pls don't beleieve ur mom..she's absolutely wrong. Seems like u suffering fr some kind of psychosis, prob schizophrenia. Rest assured that it is treatable so go to a Doc STAT. She'll put u on mediaction and check out the underlying causes. Very often it's just a chemical imbalance in the brain that causes it and with med it is rectified. i say one of 2 things.1 you have a mental problem. 2 you are seeing ghosts or demons (greek demons not christan demons) and the like. so i say see a doc but just incese learn some magic tricks. i mean real magic tricks. look in to witch craft or ceramonal magic(i just started cermaonal magic) and after a whial you will learn how to control,thes things. also if you re more interested in the magic solution go to the yahoo group called spirtual occultists(thats not spelt rght sorry) and they can help you. i am serious try the magic studd out be cause i am sure that if the doc cant hel then the magic will. if you do go to the magic stuff they try to focus on psychis mowers sense you may be seeing things you not sapous to see.

I hate to say this, but it's not you that is a " bad person " it's your mom for not getting the help you need!
That MAY follow under "child neglect ", which is punishable by law.
Is there no one else in your family that can help you?
If not, PLEASE call a mental institution yourself and explain the situation . They can give you advice on who to contact.

Personally, if it were me, I would report her. SHE needs help as well as you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in response to your own edit, there is a law of confidentiality. Unless you allow your mother the privilege of asking about your own chart, SHE CAN'T !!!!!!!!!!!!
Ask your primary doctor or your therapist about it !
