Whow knowsa places where I can go late in the night (midnight, after midnight) and have a great view of LA or valley... Maybe somewhere in the mountines... Yea and that should be a safe place to go...

Just to be more clear, I should be able to park my car, and take a look, maybe couple of shots, and maybe even take my gf there....

Drive along Mulholland Drive, it follows the ridgeline, many scenic overlooks. Yamashiro Restaurant in Hollywood has a great view, but I'm not sure it's open til midnight. Also the restaurant at the top of the old Transamerica building downtown (now SBC). And there are good views along Sunset Boulevard. Try the Bel Age Hotel or the Mondrian.

Damn I've been looking for that too.
I've heard Mulholland is excellent but I have never been there and don't know if you can park.
Even better - go to the restaurant Castaways in Burbank it's up on a hill and you can go there and the views are amazing. I'm sure there's a place to park around there somewhere too. It's pretty safe its like a golf course there / country club.

I'm from Los Angeles and my favorite spot of LA is at Griffith Observatory.
