How much money does a guy need to make before you consider him for marraige?

Because I know most girls won't date or seriously consider marrying a guy who makes $30K, despite what they say about things depending on his personality. Med students and law students get plenty of girls for a reason. A 28 year old dude needs to make how much before you will consider marrying him? $50K? $80K?

Based on people I know, people with less money seem more willing to marry other people with less money.

In my opinion, marriage isn't about money, it's about love!!! The feeling of never wanting to be without that person for the rest of your life!! It's about being willing to be with someone through thick and thin, money or none!
What happens if you marry someone that is only interested in money, you go bankrupt due to some crazy unforseen reason? You end up alone....and broke!! what a double whammy!
I married my husband before he made really good money. I was NEVER interested in his money and vice versa. In the event that we end up financially troubled, we have each other and the support to get through it together! Thats what marriage is about. Loving and caring, not dollars and cents!

I think this is a good question. You don't need to be wealthy to make a woman fall in love with you. However, to make a marriage work, it helps to be financially well off because marriage is stressful. Having more stress added to that because you are broke leads to divorce. Money is probably the #1 reason for divorce. If you have the right game (personality) you can get any woman to love you. You cannot trick a lady into a 50 year anniversary, though.
