Yes, of course you bake them with cups. There are a few reasons:
1. If you don't bake them with cups then they will stick to the pan.
2. The moisture in the cupcake batter will prevent them from burning.
Have fun baking!!

if you used paper cups especially made for cupcakes you should not have any problems. but if you still feel wooried, instead of the paper cup, place butter or butter spray around the tins and then bake. once you take them out they will fall out without getting stuck on the tins.

yes you bake those bad boys in the paper inside of the tin. The paper cups have some type of wax like a wax paper so they are suitable to withstand the heat.
Hope you enjoy and save me some?

Paper cups won't burn inside the oven.
You can choose to use one of them.
Without paper cups, you have to grease the form well so you won't any probs to pull the cupcakes out when they are done.
With paper cup you dun have to grease it, just put in the dough until 3/4 of it, and when they are done, you can just take them out and peel the paper cups before you eat them
For me personally, I prefer to use the paper cups. Because it's more handy, and the cupcakes won't break and won't make crumbs when you keep it somewhere.
And also because I dun need to wash the backing form after it! ;-)

If you are referring to the silver cupcake cups you buy at the grocery store that come stacked and are each separated by a paper cup...then NO, you are not supposed to bake in the paper separators, you pour your batter directly into the metal cups.

The ignition temperature for paper is around 450 degrees F - I would presume you are baking your cupcakes at a lower temperature! Rest assured, those little cupcake liners are made to be put in the oven!

the paper cups in the tins will not burn. they are meant to go in the tins and in the oven. in fact, i recommend using them because it makes taking your cupcakes out of the tins much easier.

Hi
I have made cupcakes! and I have always put the mixture in the paper cups and that way you don't have to even grease the tin before cooking, putting the mixture in the tin can be messy and it saves on the washing up!
Hope they taste great
good luck!
