If you like 'em rich and bitchy - be a doctor.
If you like 'em low rent and brassy - be a cop.
If you like 'em to be bisexual - be a psychologist.
I've always felt that you need to be around the places girls are ... so if you like showgirls, be a stage hand in las vegas.

A hook up is whatever her going rate is. A wife, consider the backround that the female came from. She has to pick someone who can provide a nest and, as the divorce lawyers say, "keep her in the style to which she is accustomed.
Suggestion, if you are insecure about your looks, talk to a middle aged female real estate agent. Buy a charming house, in a good neighborhood with good schools. Do not decorate it. Leave one or two rooms completely empty. Then date. Male birds that don't have fancy plumage sometimes build the nest to attract the female. You still may have to buy a new house, but the woman knows you are a provider and she can imagine making the house a home.
If you are a player, stick to a studio rental.
