should i ask a girl out by email?

im very shy and want to know if asking a girl out by email is ok, she works in the same building as me but im to shy to approach her.if so how could i word it

it would mean more face to face, she' ll think ur a coward, that will give her tooo much control, she's just a person, DO IT BABY!! And if u do it by email, it'll be easier for her to say no, but if ur in her face looking in her eyes, how could she refuse a cutie like u?

Ermm, well email is a possibility, but she might think its some kind of joke or something.
What you should do is... email her asking if she would like to go somewhere after work to have a chat and a drink. If she emails back "yes" then set a date, time etc...
When you 2 are chatting away subtly mention that you really like her and somehow manage to ask the question.
"i was wandering if we could maybe go out?"

Having said that if you don't want to talk to her and ask her upfront then yes email would be okay i guess.
Just ask her nicely and mention how nice she is and give lil subtle compliments, because its those type of compliments that she will really take in.
Oh and don't make it some long dreary message, otherwise she may not get the point of the email...

why not as long as the rest of the work place dont have access to it, that could be embarrassing if she is that way inclined to show everyone.

You could always arrange a night out for all your workmates and send her an email asking if she would like to share your taxi?

eh i wouldnt do that email thing. it might seem like youre too lazy or just dont care about her enough to actually talk to her. you might just have to talk to her... being shy is a very hard thing ya know. i guess email might work... it really just depends. if you do do the email thing make it sweet and stuff to spice it up a little and dont be too straight forward. it might freak her out.

No, and dont ask her out if u havent talked to her yet. First you have to establish some kind of connection, or she ll say no, or give you an excuse.

ASk her opinion about something. be funny and selfconfident. speak clear and loud. stand straight. you must talk and look secure. practice in front of your mirror if u like. you can go to a bar and practice with other girls before trying it with this one.

But if you really can't do it, then emailing it is better than not asking her out at all.

no, never ask out a girl by e-mail she'll say no because you didn't have the courage to go up to her and ask her yourself. girls like guys who believe in themselves and who go for what they want. if you're too shy to ask her out in person do it over the phone that way you're not face to face with her but you're not disrespecting her by asking her out by e-mail either. good luck!
