Why is my life going very well? I mean, I constantly deny the Christ Cultists fictional god, I call jesus the bastard son of a whore, I have literally pissed on a bible, burned them, spat on them...everything but use the pages as toilet paper (they're too rough).
I have done all of these things and I can boast that I have never had a serious illness, have a successful business, live a comfortable life, have access to all the noogie I could ever want, am happy, my family is happy, my friends seem to be doing great...
Why bother believing if an anti-Christ like me can live this life why flipping your bogus god the bird? What reason do I have?

I dont see what all the gloom and doom is about...I thought you Christ cultists were supposed to be upbeat...
My life hasn't been all roses, Ive had my share of thorns but nothing I couldn't deal with on my own.
I have accepted the fact that I face oblivion after I die. There is nothing, the void await,,,thats why I am content to get my kicks before the shithouse goes up in flames! (Jim Morrison - personal hero).
I have had 35 years of bliss without looking to your lame god for any of it.
So with that...what reason do I have to believe, I am still not convinced.

Luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I am an atheist, I have burned a bible before, and live a comfortable lifestyle, my family and I are healthy. But, my relatives who are religious seem to be suffering illnesses. I think our position must be safer if not the correct one. That Judeo-Christian god doesn't do anything to help his followers it seems. Go figure.

If having everything you have now brings you happiness, Im sencerely glad for you. Just remember, the truth of this present life is that one of these days you and me will both die and nothing you have you can take to the grave. What happens then, are you happy with staying dead? Does living 60 or 70 years satisfy you?
Im only 21, I have a wife, a one bedroom apartment and a 98 corolla. But I have something other people dont have: Im not afraid of the future. While others are wondering what would happen tomorow, Im sitting down reading everything the Bible says will happen and has happened.
I have lost many in death. While everyone is crying their eyes out. Im as calm as I ever can be.
Besides.. you dont have to be a genious or crazy believer to see...
Everything came to exist because and explotion...... give me a break. Since when does fire create the perfect balance the earth has. Have you ever studied biology..... scientists go crazy when they discover how every single thing has its purpose in all living organisms.
Then they say it came to be from a destructive super explotion.
You believe what you believe, thats why you got free will. I believe what i believe. But the things you have today could disapear tomorow. What will you have then?

Religion merely helps people's psychological need for spirituality and acceptance.
You are doing so well because you have positive energy...unlike some people who choose to live in fear of "oh no, I'm such a sinner! We're all sinners!" Then instead of making the world a better place by helping save of the earth of pollution or help our fellow man, they just hope they will be saved by a second coming (well not all)
My belief is weather or not someone will come to save us, we should at least try to save ourselves, our world...and live in happiness without judging people.
I like your post, and to your question I say...there is no point.
People should worship G-d because they want to. And there is no way I (a believer) will ever misjudge you for not doing so because I am not here to judge but to live as an equal.

Not to be a party pooper, but your life isn't always going to be just dandy. It can get hard sometimes and your going to need someone to help you through it. If you look at what so many people have with their relationship with God, you will have a thirst for it also, giving your life to Jesus is like being reborn again into a world where you KNOW EXACTLY what you want ; to advance the kingdom of GOD. So you say, "why bother?" trust me when i say this; its not a bother to loved so much that your life is changed forever. it seems liek your life is close to perfection, but there is ONE thing that is missing. God......... he wants you to run to him.
think about it. :)

Wow, for someone with such a rich life you sure do spend a lot of time and energy on expressing how much you dislike Christians and their little storybook. I'm not a fan of zealots myself (and God knows they aren't too fond of me either...) but I have better things to do than prove to the world that I'm better than the rest of them.
Methinks the gentleman doth protest too much - are you a closet Catholic? Maybe you just posted this to make my head hurt because that's what happens whenever I have to read all the drivel people here post about "obeying God", "eternal rewards" and such nonsense.

Have you ever thought about what will happen after this life? I have many times.I WAS told once opinions are like butt holes every one has one, you have a right to your unadulterated opinion. BUT dont make it so. I STILL believe there is a G_D. no matter what you or anyone else on theis earth believes. TRUST me there will be a judgment day. And what if you found out there really was a G-d? oops ! !

Because Satin can give you more rewards on earth.
Being a Christian is not easy and does not guarantee happiness on this earth.
You have a skewed view of Christianity, and as long as you are still alive you have a chance for redemption for your sins.
If I were you and you have done all those things, I would not want to wait to long!
The best of luck to you!
Peace!

God through his own graces will choose you ... and ask you to choose him too ... " I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it to the earnestness of others". God is love, and you can accept his love or reject his love. Up to you (free will u know --- wink).

Check this joke out ... you may like it (Giggle):
An Atheist and a Bear:
An atheist was taking a walk through the woods, admiring all that evolution had created.
"What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!", he said to himself. As he was walking along the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. When he turned to see what the casue was, he saw a 7-foot grizzly charging right towards him. He ran as fast as he could. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was closing, He ran even faster, crying in fear. He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer. His heart was pounding and he tried to run even faster. He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up, but saw the bear right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.
At that moment, the Atheist cried out "Oh my God!...." Time stopped. The bear froze. The forest was silent. Even the river stopped moving.
As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky, "You deny my existence for all of these years; teach others I don''t exist; and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"
The atheist looked directly into the light "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask You to treat me as Christian now, but perhaps could you make the bear a Christian?" "Very well," said the voice.
The light went out. The river ran again. And the sounds of the forest resumed.
And then the bear dropped his right paw ..... brought both paws together...bowed his head and spoke: "Lord, for this food which I am about to receive, I am truly thankful."

I can just say that you are sick and abnormal, because even those who don't believe in God won't do such things as you do.
But still if you want an answer for this, then remember, God gives time to every one to realise their own mistakes and thus correct themselves. But if a person doesn't realise this and crosses his limits, then its time for the God to punish.
