Ok, I have an XP Pro laptop and my fiance has a Mac OS X laptop. I was wondering is there a finance budget program out there that could be used on both platforms. Something that maybe uses a database as I would most likely store that info in a network drive so that both of us could access and update it with our expenditures and checks and such. Of course preferably freeware but I willing to buy the program if they have a trail version that I could try out first. (I'm also posting this question in the Personal Finance category so you might see it again)

I think there is software that reads Microsoft Access databases on OS X. There's one for Linux, at least, so I imagine there's one for OS X because it's somewhat more popular than Linux. If I'm not mistaken, Microsoft may have made some software especially for OS X users. I really can't recommend anything because I don't like Macs. But there is plenty of software out there for OS X, so you should have no problem finding something suitable. Good luck!
