We are updating the interior of our home and I was wondering..... Does anyone know how much a contractor charges /square foot for:
Crown:
Base:
Chair Rails:
and to hang doors?
I just need an esitimated price on how much it might cost? Thanks to all with any info.

Crown molding can be tricky. About $3/ft plus the cost of the molding.
Base and chair rails about $1/ft plus molding.
Hanging doors about $30 each.

Well crown and base will range anywhere from $3 to $5 per linear foot, thats labor not material inc. One thing I should say is ur prices will differ depending on the material being used for ur door ,chair rails, etc... If u live in California they give free estimates so call ur local carpentry, handyman, some painters do carpentry work, etc...
