is the pionner super thunder D good.Does it have a good sound?Is it worth the money

PIONEER, PIONEER, PIONEER. Pioneer has always made great cd players for home and car audio and, in my opinion, are also the founding fathers of the "laser disc" players, which were great. I understand pioneers DVD players are good too. When it comes to ANY disc playing device, pioneer knows what there doing and you can not go wrong. There's nothing wrong with a Kenwood or Alpine, but my next car stereo will definitely be a Pioneer. I must admit that I am a big ONKYO fan and owner.

Your best all around hu would probably be Pioneer premier lines. They have good features and look awesome. Other good brands to look at are Clarion(higher end models), Alpine(higher end models). Eclipse are very good and Kenwood is ok. Kendwood excelons are very nice as well. Find something in your price range that offers the features you are looking for.

read some consumer reports on this specific deck and see for yourself....stay away from sony and panasonic

i've got a dual, it's got some minor problems but looks really cool.
