Okay, I have 96%+ in every single class i take (advanced classes), run the school newspaper, am in like a million extracurriculars, and last year won the award for top student on my team at school. but yet, i still get made fun of and considered stupid because of my hair color. Am i the only one Who's sick of all this BS?!? i mean, the color of your hair has nothing to do with how well your brain funtions. why is it so hard for some people to understand that? and why is it okay to single out blondes to make mean jokes about? i mean, if you made black jokes or asian jokes or any other group on the planet jokes, you wouldnt be able to get away with it widespread like blonde jokes. everyone would be like, "thats so mean, you shouldnt do that." so why does nobody listen when blondes say it?!? what will it take for people to stop?!?

Hey, since you are obviously an intelligent blond, then you shouldn't care what the people say. People always get singled out for being different. That's just the way it is. There isn't anything you can do about that. It's just in the nature of the people. The black people get singled out, fat people get singled out and made fun of, people who stutter get made fun of. You just can't stop jerks form making fun of people who are different in some way. You can just ignore them. Then, it will get boring for them and they will stop. But you have to be consequent when doing so and not get mad if they still don't stop after the third time. If you always ignore them, they will get it sooner or later and leave you alone.

I'm a natural blonde, and I learned not to take them personally. People aren't calling me stupid, but they are short jokes and everybody knows a few. It's like dumb men jokes. Men aren't dumb, well they can be, but it's just a joke. We aren't say that they all are, but it sure is funny!
For a good payback, learn the blonde jokes so you finish the punchline, it takes the humor out of the telling. People will learn to stop telling blonde jokes around you when you can ruin it for them. Also tell brunette, redhead, or men jokes after they've told you a blonde joke.

If you are so smart why do you buy into such bs?...
You (along with most of the population) KNOW it's not true so why should you care? People might underestimate you at times but that can work to your advantage... Stereotypes are something we ALL have to live with... It's not just blondes - people make fun of redheads, women drivers, fat people, etc. If you are as smart as you say you are, you really shouldn't let it (someone else's ignorance) get to you.

i agree 100% ure haircolor has nothing to do with the way you think blondes are just as smart as brunettes or readheads i was made fun of when i got blonde highlights its rong 4 people 2 make fun of u cause u have a certain hair color

Yes! I am sick of it too.
I think these jokes started as a reaction to jokes about blacks, Polish, etc. People didn't like making fun of other ethnic groups so they felt it was "payback" to tell jokes about blonde (white) people. It became more "politically correct" to tell blonde jokes.
But it's wrong to keep this up, no matter which group you target. It has nothing to do with reality.
It may take time but this fad will die out. Best wishes for continued success to you!

they won't, if a joke is funny laugh. there are plenty of jokes out there about skin color, race,and so on. I've heard blonde jokes that are funny, and some that are down right a waste of my time.... if they bother you do some research and get some of your own. that way you don't seem so bothered by the ones you hear.

I'm naturally blonde as well and people do hate me because of my hair colour. I just ignore them, if they say something really nasty I'll just be like "screw you" or something like that. I have real friends I don't care what anyone says. I get 80's and 90's in school. People that call me dumb get 60's and below.

Oh sweetie get over it blond jokes were invented by brunettes because they were jealous of them so think of it as a complement when you hear one, and lighten up and laugh, laugh and the world laughs with you cry and you cry alone.
