As a web developer, I constantly use FireBug for JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Ajax debugging https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1843/ and Web Developer https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/60/.

I also use:

TabX: Adds a close button to each browser tab
Del.icio.us
Plain Text Links: Open links written in plain text (not clickable links)
Amazon Search: An extension that I wrote to be able to highlight text on a web page and search on Amazon for it.

Google Toolbar, I like it for the spell check feature

FasterFox, on a broadband connection will allow Firefox to load webpages slightly faster

McAfee Site Advisor, distinguish phising sites from legitimate sites

SessionSaver, saves open tabs, even after you have closed Firefox or restarted your PC

Tabbrowser Preferences, customize the way you like websites to open (as opposed to a new Window, opens sites in a new tab)

Gmail Skins (Gmail Account users only), allows you to skin and customize the appearance of your Gmail account

Colorful Tabs, gives each open tab a different color, it's just pretty

IE Tab, view pages within Firefox using the IE engine when you need to

Find any of these extensions by typing them into a search engine.
