Because God is a reality that everyone knows but alot refuse to admit because they want to have fun. God is worthy of our respect and eternal worship forever. You only know Big Bang and evolution because you have been conditioned by an evil education system to believe in Big Bang when you know by the evidence of the universe God has created that this isn't true.

God is a familiar word that humanity has lived with for centuries. Whether or not God exists which will be debated until the end of time is not the important question, but rather what "God" stands for. It is the habits of society that have shaped what words and phrases are considered acceptable. Curse words were horrible contemptible words which now are no more than nuisances for the elders. God is a placeholder that people have deemed a male figure with form for the unknown. Religion or not, values and morals are the same, it's just the question of where you think you're going in the end. Is it decomposing? Is it heaven? You pick

First...you do not "know" if the "big bang or evolution are fact. No one dose. That is why they are, and will remain, Theories. Unless you can prove them by direct observation or duplication...then you are the first to be able to do so...congratulations
I am of The Christian Faith. I know that God created all that makes up this universe. I do not know how he did it. There is much I do not know. But when I know that God was, or is, involved, I give him the credit.... when I do not know something I admit it... I do not know if the big bank occured... it is a theory...I am not able to demonstrate or duplicate much that is "theory" from the scientific standpoint. But I do accept theories based on valid scientific principles...and that includes The Theory of evolution...and the big bang... they are valid tool for scietific contemplation... But they remain "theories"

I think the inclination to believe in God over scientific theory (no matter how you define theory) is there because God fluctuates a lot less than scientific thought over the generations. It's like that quote from Men in Black:
Agent K: "1500 years ago, everybody "knew" that the earth was the center of the universe. 500 years ago, everybody "knew" that the earth was flat. And 15 minutes ago, you "knew" that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll "know" tomorrow."
God promises not to change. The scientific school of thought doesn't have that track record.

Why assume religious people don't know?
Where do YOU think existence started from....accepting your unproven fact of Big bang (since you believe it, so much) where did exist from, how did it begin....
some things aren't meant for the human mind....I see you struggling evrey day, but are you sure ythat your purposes are the right ones....?
And what is YOUR point of view about the many prophets and miracles all (strangely enough) calling for the worship of the very same God althought they had 3 diffrent religions?

Really? You DO KNOW that Big Bang really happened? Were you there?
Have you actually seen evolution occur? Be careful, I mean real evolution, not adaptation.

Since when has the scientific community said that they "Know" for a fact that the big bang happened or that evolution happended?
Those are all theories. And, oh, yes, they UNPROVEN theories.
It takes faith to believe in God.
It takes more faith to believe in evolution.

And who says God didn't create the big bang? Scientests don't know everything same as the rest of us.
And, yes, you should respect other poples beliefs even if you have different beliefs.

God
Errr I mean it's because they're totally afraid to not know something. Everything NEEDS an explanation that makes them happy. For some people God is that explanation.... personally, I have no problem saying I don't know.
