Well at least your not the only one....I've been having itchy scalp myself. After checking and clearing it wasn't lice, I was told it could be dry scalp, not rinsing out my shampoo/conditioner out good enough, or leaving hair products in your hair for a long time, sweating, psoriasis, moles or any other kind of skin condition. If the problem persist just get the doctor or skin specialist to check it out for you.

Every body's scalp itch every once in a while, so that is very normal. If its it itching more than usual then you may not be washing out all the shampoo or it could be a number of things. If this happens again and you cant stop the itch no matter what you try then go to the barber shop and see what they have to say about it. Hope I've been helpful

You probably have dry scalp. A good shampoo to use to help combat the itchiness and also keep you flake-free is Arbonne's Intelligence Self-Adjusting shampoo with tea tree oil.
In addition, whenever you wash and rinse your hair, you should be rinsing in lukewarm to cool water...if your water is too hot, it really can dry out the scalp.

Try using conditioner when you shampoo. Or you get get a 2 in 1 bottle so that you can get that moisture back into your hair. It's either itchy because it's dry or because your allergic to something you have been putting on your head! You will be fine :)

Check for shampoos to treat the itchy scalp, and try drinking more water in case of mild dehydration.
Good luck!

Head and Shoulders have just brought out a new product that contains 2% pyrithione zinc. (normal is 1%).
Also when you shower, shampoo first but don't rinse until you are ready to get out. Leaving the shampoo on longer gives it more time to take effect. 5 minutes is good.

First...Stop scratching. Scratching will just spread it around. Get Some dandruff shampoo and follow the directions for psoriasis

try using head and shoulders shampoo or proactiv dandruff shampoo and conditioner. If it still continues then maybe you have lice or maybe you just need to oil or moisturize your scalp. If nothing works, then go and see you doctor.

Perhaps it's your diet. Make sure you drink lots of water and eat healthy. You are what you eat. So perhaps you're missing some vitamins. Also, if you wear hats often, bacteria can grow faster. So try to let your scalp breathe.
