You should eat at least 7 portions of fruit and veggies everyday. The grain product you eat should be unrefined: Whole wheat, whole rice, whole grain pasta etc. If you are not a vegetarian, you should replace meat with legumes like beans, lentills, chick peas etc, at least 4 times a week.If you do that you'll eat enough fibers to stay healthy. Remember exercise is also very important for maintaining health.

different with every person.
You should certainly not exaggerate, because too much fibre can also cause constipation.
Make sure to drink enough water, eat 2-3 pieces of fruit every day and some yoghurt. Don´t eat too many prefab products.
20-30 grams of fibre normally should do the trick

What is Cholesterol?
Cholesterol is a type of fat made by your liver. Cholesterol is a waxy substance found in all parts of your body. It helps make cell membranes, some hormones, and vitamin D. Cholesterol comes from two sources: your body and the foods you eat. Blood cholesterol is made in your liver. Your liver makes all the cholesterol your body needs. Dietary cholesterol comes from animal foods like meats, whole milk dairy foods egg yolks, poultry, and fish. Eating too much dietary cholesterol can make your blood cholesterol go up. Foods from plants, like vegetables, fruits, grains, and cereals, do not have any dietary cholesterol.
