Yes, I believe God is watching over us. And he also gave us a free will so with some of the questions asked on here, it's no wonder the world is going to hell. You have to choose God or Satan. You can't have both.

No, there are no gods watching over anything. It is a myth. And the world is not really going to Hell. There's always been changes and uprisals in the world. It is how society evolves.

None of us has experienced a truly peaceful world. During the last few decades humanity has developed the horrifying ability to exterminate all human life. So as to answer your primary question I would have to support the fact that there is a God! As for why the Lord permits humans to follow in the path of evil, the answer is quite visible really. When He created us He chose to give us a free will and therefore entrusting the processes of decision making to us. Yet weather those notions and actions are righteous or wicked is our responsibility and ours alone! He also originally gave us dominion over the earth and all that is upon it. This reality contributes to the current condition of our dying planet.

If there wasn't a God we would already be in hell...Satan would be the ultimate ruler. It is called mans free will and how we choose to use it. If we didn't have free will then God would control everything, but that isn't what man wanted. It is like a father guiding their children to keep them safe, loving, good, etc., but that child not listening......and making many painful mistakes.

Of course there is a God. The reason things are so bad is because He gave Us free choice. WE made things bad. It's kind of like when you tell your toddler not to touch something hot and he just keeps on trying to get to it. Finally you say, "O.K. But I told you it's hot!" The toddler has to learn the definition of "hot" for himself. We have to learn a lot of lessons for ourselves. God allows some things to happen so that we can learn. That's what I believe. He's not being mean, he's just being a good parent and teaching us things. If we would listen in the first place, things might not be so bad.

The world is going to hell because of the sinfulness of mankind. God already gave mankind a chance and he blew it in the garden of eden. Now all of mankind is paying for that sin.
Sin has seperated mankind from God. The holiness of God cannot look upon the sinfulness of mankind. The only way that God can look upon a sinful person is through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus was God's chosen, ideal righteousness and anyone that believes in God's ideal righteous one, Jesus Christ, will be saved.
However, not all of mankind has chosen God's provision for the forgiveness of their sins and as a result, God has allowed mankind to pretty much fend for themselves and to be ruled by satan and their own sinful natures.

There isn't a god. God is only a representation of humans' fear
of finding a creature more powerful, more intelligent than them. God is an extension of humans' narcissist feelings; by claiming they were the 'children' of a supreme being, they manage to get some comfort.

yes, there is god. We have stopped hearing to our inner voice ,the voice of god ,hence the world is going to hell.
