My normal color is bright brownish/blonde. What is the best product to use to keep the red from brightning to that awful orange?

John Frieda's Luminous Color Glaze shower treatment three times a week, or everytime you shampoo. You wash your hair, slap the masque on, leave for 3 min and rinse...

check out bathandbodyworks.com for a great selection of color protecting shampoos/conds....

Here's a great tip to keep the color besides good shamp/cond-- Wash your hair in cool or cold water. Think about it-- you wash your red clothes in cold water so they don't run.... the same thing goes for hair. If you wash your bright color in hot water, it will fade much faster.

I got that tip from Andy Paige of centsofstyle.org.

John Freda. For redheads......i should know....have been one all life.....but lately my hair has gotten a mind of its own and has decided it wants to turn white/grey..
And so, I have to chemically alter my hair...and my son said it is altering my mind also...........I said to him 'what makes you think that?' and then i said to him 'what makes you think that?' and then i said to him 'WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT!?' and he said 'think about it, mom.' and darn it, that was 3 months ago and i am still thinking about it!
