I need a father figure in my life. Someone local, someone experienced in the way of the world, someone who I can goto for help, or who when i feeling down might offer me a couch to sleep on. Nothing religious please.

The closest thing I can think of is getting a sugar daddy. They'll take care of you, but it usually comes at a price: something sexual. Google for sugardaddies or sugarmommies

Contact your local Social Services Department...but be prepared that you may need a security check
You could also get in touch with a local Church....they often have contacts with people who would value a 'son' to befriend them.

The person you need is called a mentor.Someone at school or perhaps Citizens Advice will be able to give you more advice.

The big brothers programs..or a local YMCA may offer a mentor program........Good luck
