Who says you're arrested when you cross into Mexico? Thousands of tourists enter Mexico every day. You've created a false premise here, especially the bit about Mexico expecting "its people to be welcomed with open arms."

No one is arrested in Mexico for crossing the border that my friend is a lie, In fact anybody can cross up to 25 miles with out need of visa or passport, all tourist is welcome, however if like many people go to the border thinking that just because you are an American can do wherever they want like drink and drive, or disorderly conduct, or smock pot , then you are arrested, and believed you do not want to go to jail in Mexico that is hell, you do the crime you pay the price,

I've never been arrested in Mexico (thank God)
America has long suffered a double-standard in terms of trade and political parity with other countries. Apparently it because we're the "big guy" and always touting how wonderful we are (Land of opportunity, Give us your tired, your poor...blah blah blah). Whenever anyone tries to protest that we are being taken advantage of, special interests start screaming that we're just not being 'nice' or that we are spreading hate. They do this not only because it is the most obvious ploy to get what you want, but also because it works. It is destroying the country, but it does work rather well.

If you cross the border into Mexico, you are not arrested. Most Mexicans who cross into the US want more out of life, and it is very expensive for them to get the necessary papers to come to the US. So, they do what their friends and family have done for many years. It's their way of life.

It's called HYPOCRACY!!!! Americans DO go to mexico on vacations and stuff, but If an American SNEAKED into mexico,they would be beaten,robbed,and thrown into jail!!!! And yet,mexico thinks it's just FINE , for THEIR illegals to SNEAK into this country!!!! Talk about a double standard!!
