I have a question about the creatures that plague the earth in the book of Revelations?

Question

I was reading about scorpion lion-faced creatures tormenting man and other things. What caliber gun should I get to take these things down?

I brought my bible to the gun counter at Wal-Mart but the kid working there wasnt sure what I needed.

I want to make sure I have the proper ammo to deal with any threat on any plane of existance.

You should probably be prepaired with a combination of different ammunitions appropriate for hunting everything form flying demons to large multi-headed death dealers. You could not go wrong with a tank to carry your needed guns, grenades, gas cannister and whatever else is available thru reputable munnitions dealers. Your motto should be "be parpaired" or has this been used before well no matter it is appropriate. You will also need holy water bombs, shells and in pails for dunking. Some silver bullets are a must have item.

Sorry to disappoint you and the big game hunter that you are; but the book of Revelation or Apocalypse basically meaning unveiling or uncovering presents not a mere fatalistic message or world doom, but un uncovering of divine truths that should build in our hearts a radiant immovable faith.Armageddon is described in the last book of the Bible as "the war of the great day of God the Almighty." (Revelations 16:14, 16) of course far different from a nuclear holocaust, but a selective divine warfare eliminating wicked opposers of God and His universal government (kingdom).

Referring to the scriptures in revelation which talks about locusts tormenting ungodly men AS BY A SCORPION and they have tails and stings LIKE SCORPIONS and in their tails is their authority to hurt the men five months." (Revelation 9:4-6 ,& 10 )
What does all this mean? As true worshippers of God go forth in their divinely authorized preaching and teaching activities with books, magazines, brochures, timely tracts etc. These contain authoritative statements, based on God's Word, for the people to read in their homes and they have a SCROPIONLIKE STING because they warn of Jehovah's approaching day of vengeance. Before the present generation of spiritual locusts lives out its life span*, its divinely ordained work of declaring Jehovah's judgments will be completed-to the hurt of all stiff-necked blasphemers.

*Incidentally referring to the five months scriptural reference,the
life span of a literal locust is about five months. Therefore it is for as long as they live that the modern-day locusts keep stinging God's enemies, so this emphasizes the intensity of the symbolic
torment as though by the relentless assault of scorpions.

You can't take down something that's symbolic. The 4 faced creature of Revelation symbolizes the 4 seasons in a year.

Revelation is a mystical story told in astrological symbolism about events that were happening in the first centiry on the ground (Jewish uprising) and in the sky (dawn of age of Pisces).

I'm glad that you are thinking about a way of an escape if I may put it that way. Revelations is quite a scary picture of truly what is to come. But let me say that YOU CAN BE SURE that you will not have to go thru that torment. Acts 16:31 tells us "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!" If you can admit that you are sinner in need of forgiveness, and believe that Jesus took your sins to the cross for his own ,(for he is sinless), shed his precious blood,died in your place , rose again the 3rd day, so that you can have forgiveness of your sins. By knowing you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart. Ask the Lord Jesus to take away your sin, and begin living for Him instead of self. If you ask the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, then you will be taken out of this earth, in what is known as the Rapture. We read about it in I Thessalonians 4:16. You can be saved from this torment.

if you are a true christian and reading the Bible... (and it seems to me that you are)... then what do you have to worry about? Jesus will rapture you to heaven before you even see the scorpion lion-faced creatures. wouldn't going with Christ be the easier and most logical route.... who needs a gun when you have Christ?
