I have very thick wavy hair, and i am literally obessed with curly hair, as once straight hair, and i purchased amazing GHDS! I am stuck about what to curl my hair with, some say big barrel curling irons, some say hot brushes and some say rollers. I need ones that will be suitable for me to curl my hair nicely, and quickly. Any good brands or ideas? Please help!!!!!!

you could get a perm, obviously if you want to have the curl for the long haul. otherwise, varying sizes of hot rollers in your hair (conair is my fave) would work well, too.

I have really thick hair as well and to make it curly I use Revlon curling iron, you can set it from 1-25 depending on your thickness. Also before you curl use some Chi oil or Revlon oil to make your hair not stick to the iron as much and create less burns, after the ironing your hair won't be oily looking. If you curl your hair after the shower, wait until it's completely dry, root to tip so you won' t have split ends, yes, even if your hair becomes poofy when it's dry.

This sound like a pain, but i have the same issue you do. To get nicely curled hair i first straighten it, then i use hot rollers to set even curl in.

If your hair already has a wave, you could just put a curl enhancer in yur hair and some mousse and diffuse it with you head upside down. Small rollers could also work and are quicker than a curling iron.

if u don't mind perming your straight hair u can do that. try a perm that straightens not the curly perms aka the "white perms" and then use a black person curling iron...y??because they get hotter u can adjust the tempurature and the curl stays longer. hope this helps
after reading i saw gold and hot...i think that's the curling iron i was refering to...try that it really works.

after i take i shower i either use loreal's curling mousse
