It wouldn't be hard if you'd just stop focusing on why it's so hard and DO something. It can even be a small thing to start with. You're missing out on a lot by not doing good things for others. What you don't realize is that it'll come back to you, many times over.

Some people are more generous with their time and money by nature.

My son is constantly giving his things away and appears to be very generous.

The problem is that you can't see their heart. Why do they give so much? Sometimes people give too much.

My son gives and gives...because he wants people to like him. Most of the time he gives to people that are not thankful. My son appears to be very generous, and he is, but he also desires the applause of men. That is the negative part of his giving.

On the other hand, people don't do good because it is an inconvience. It is so much easier to be selfish and do nothing than go out of my way to serve in a church, teach a sunday school class, or help my neighbor.

We give out of abundance, so perhaps it is that goodness is not abundant in you. It may be sought after and found. Do you want it?
