i think younger people today (not all but alot) are aggressive with no manners or respect for themselves (some of them) or others (alot of them). personally, i think we should have bootcamps over here as in mexico where the 'participants' have to do their own washing ironing cleaning cooking, do physical excercise in form of army style assault courses and earn the right to watch tv, use the computer, talk/communicate with others. what do you think about this?

Yes i think this would be a fantastic idea. I'd round up all the wee neds and chavs hanging around on street corners and send them all off to bootcamp with no excuses.

|I am pleased to see that somebody thinks like me, I agree there should be bootcamps here in the UK. The aggression some of these young people have will be channelled into other areas, and make them better people who respect others and their property. To earn the right to watch T V etc is an excellent idea as they will appreciate what they are missing.

I think bootcamps would be a good idea for kids who have no ambition to do anything and have no respect or discipline, but at the same time i think it should be optional when the young person has not committed a serious offence, but in other cases i think it is totally necessary to send trouble making teenagers to bootcamp

Yes there should be, it might get them out of detention centres and prevent over crowding in prisons in years to come, however I think that you are tarring all young people with the same brush. The majority are well brought up, well behaved, good kids. It's just because you dont see the good kids, hanging round on street corners, committing crimes and making a terrible nusience of themselves that you think they arent there!

Yes , this would focus the mind and give a sense of purpose , whereas at the moment the prevailing aimless and motiveless culture leads to all sorts of troubles = the devil finds work for Idle hands = True

Absolutely. I'd love to see kids learn to have some respect for themselves and for other people. I think a bit of hardship and discipline is exactly the way to go.

First of all, boot camps are terrible places. It's bad enough to have them in the United States, but having the in the U.K will just make it worse. Sorry, but I hate that idea.
