My Sugar has serious gas. I've had her to the vet to make sure she is healthy and all is very good. But she passes gas constantly and the stench is horrible. I can't imagine that she is comfortable and am afraid that her tummy is bothering her. I guess it's my human paranoia and knowing how gas effects my body.
Can anyone enlighten me on if this is making her uncomfortable or a way to help reduce this problem?

I should have added that she eats Science Diet puppy food for large breeds. I also don't give her table scraps because I have other animals and it's not fair for one and not the others.
Also, I can't imagine why anyone would post such a horrible things as hurting her. That's just unacceptable.

I read on a website a while back that the cause of horrid smelling gas could be the dog's food. Poor quality dog food is often the culprit. My vet told me that the cheap dog foods (especially Ol'Roy) is the worst thing you can feed your dog. If you aren't feeding your dog good quality food, try it. And, table scraps are a total NO NO because that also can cause gas, plus it's bad for a dog anyway. They can't digest people food like we can.
Hope this helps!

Light a match... just not too close to her butt or talk about WHOOF!
Stop feeding her human table foods with a high sulfuric content! or any table foods at all for that matter.
read the bag... it says DOG FOOD on it... I swear! It is what dogs are supposed to eat.
Try science diet or Iams. not the cheap junk!

It seems that various foods affect creatures in various ways. You might try changing her diet until you find one that doesn't cause gas. Then match the ingredients of the gassy foods to the non-gassy foods to see which food she needs to avoid. Maybe your vet knows of a product that is the pet equivalent to Gas-x.

Try giving her half a GasX pill. But, check with your Vet before.

Change her diet and keep her in the garden, where dogs belong.
Failing that .357 hardpoint to the base of the skull, that will cure her gas for good!

Change her food. She's probably allergic to something in her diet.
