i have an old fujifilm finepix camera but the memory card doesn't fit into any of the slots on my computer. i lost the USB cable so i can't get the pix that way. what do i do? can i get eternal hardware to insert the card into or should i find a new USB cable?

get a card reader according to your type of storage card. it is better than letting the camera transfer the photos into the computer via usb cable. best if you could get a multi slot card reader that can read different types of card in case you happen to change storage cards in the future.

Your old Fuji camera probably uses a smart media card. You can buy a "6 in 1" or an "8 in 1" card reader which will fit a variety of cards. In Canada they sell for anywheree between $25 and $50. As stated in a previous answer, a multi-slot card reader with be useful regardless of the type of memory card you may use in the future.

Card reader as mentioned above. Also if you buy a new usb camera cable your going to have to find the software program. You probably lost the software program as well.
Card reader will come with new software program.
